Orthodontics is a specialist branch of dentistry dealing with:

Smiles and teeth can be improved at any age.  Orthodontics can be carried out on adults and children. Treatment length varies depending on the type of orthodontics you require, but as an approximate estimate treatment can last for 24 months.

Types of braces:

	Fixed braces (train tracks) – brackets and bands are attached to the
	teeth. You can either have metal or tooth coloured fixed braces.
	Removable appliances – used on less complex orthodontic cases

We also offer Invisalign orthodontic treatment. Invisalign is a very modern type of orthodontics.

How does Invisalign orthodontic Treatment work?

• uses 3D imaging to show how your teeth will look from their initial to final position
• from the 3D imaging a series of custom made clear aligners are made 
• each aligner is worn for approximately 2 weeks and during this time the teeth will move slightly, it will then be replaced with the next aligner in the series until the teeth have been straightened
