Dr. Bozena Kanas BDS (Birm) BSc.(Hons)

Bozena was born in Wolverhampton and qualified initially as a Pharmacist in 1986. She immediately entered Birmingham Dental School, qualifying in 1991. After practising for two years in Evesham she joined Ock Street Dental Care in 1994 as Associate Dentist. After eight years Bozena became Principal Dentist, since then leading the practice through a modernisation programme to adopt the most up to date techniques and improve the practice environment.

During her time in Abingdon, Bozena has spent considerable energy in building her dental skills and has developed special interests in Preventative Dentistry, Endodontics, Restorative and Cosmetic Dentistry. She is very active in continuing dental education, as a member of the Gloucestershire Independent Dentist group, and regularly attends courses. Her current area of special interest is dental occlusion and the treatment of headaches and upper back pain by balancing the jaw muscle actions.

In her spare time Bozena is interested in foreign travel, skiing, and is bilingual, speaking fluent Polish.

Bozena's partner, Nick, is an Optometrist who also works at the practice as Business Manager.
